With an eye on Ilia Topuria's great rise in the UFC, Joe Rogan doesn't mince words when praising the moment led by the Spanish-Georgian in the company. Despite the existence of several prospects in the Ultimate, the official commentator guarantees that the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) is levels above any other athlete.

"Ilia Topuria, who will face Charles Oliveira, that guy is insane. He knocked out two of the best featherweights of all time: Volkanovski and Max Holloway. Nobody has knocked these guys out at featherweight before and he did. He did it and he made it look easy. He’s on a different level than everybody else. Now he’s decided to go to 70 pounds to clean up the division, guys like that are on a different level than anybody else,” Rogan said on his podcast.

Finally, Joe indicated that Topuria is revolutionizing and enhancing the current moment of the UFC.

“Ilia has everything: submissions, kicks, punches, everything. He can do anything. He does everything perfectly, all his techniques are perfect. It’s a great time for the sport, it’s a crazy time, because these guys are coming in like with one UFC fight they already looked like world class,” he concluded.
