The first Brazilian in action on the main card of UFC Nashville , this Saturday (12), Vitor Petrino did not disappoint. Making his debut in the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg), the athlete from Minas Gerais made short work of Austen Lane and, with great skill on the ground, finished the former American football player with a katagatame in the final stretch of the first round.

With this result, Vitor Petrino recovers from a two-fight losing streak in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) and makes a winning debut in the new category. The Brazilian became the first fighter to submit Austen Lane , who, in turn, suffers his second consecutive defeat and his fourth in the last five fights.
