After the defeat to Beneil Dariush No. UFC 317, Renato Moicano took to 'X' (formerly Twitter) to ask for a chance at the next UFC in Brazil, scheduled for Rio de Janeiro on October 11. On his official account, the brailsieor surprised everyone by asking for an 'easy opponent' to compete in the event.

"Malhadinho won't fight in UFC Brazil! UFC, Dana White, if you put me on the card, put an easy opponent on it! I have a good speech to make in BRAZIL. Forget absolutely everything," Moicano posted.

While Moicano makes a public appeal, Jailton Malhadinho already negotiating to face Alexander Volkov at UFC 321, scheduled for October 25th in Abu Dhabi. This means the Bahia native will be out of the Rio event, opening up space for his compatriot.

Renato Moicano is banking on public pressure and charisma. The fighter, who is ranked 12th in the lightweight rankings (up to 70,3 kg), wants to enter Rio looking for an easy victory to create a narrative for his return to Brazil. He has even considered Michael chandler as an ideal rival for a Fight Night promising in Rio de Janeiro.
