The UFC announced a landmark deal to broadcast its events in the United States. Starting in 2026, the organization will be exclusively broadcast on the Paramount+ streaming service, under a seven-year contract valued at US$7,7 billion (approximately R$42 billion). The package includes 43 annual events, including numbered cards and Fight Nights, and marks the end of ESPN's pay-per-view model. Under the new format, all Paramount+ subscribers will have full access to the UFC schedule at no additional cost. Some events will also be broadcast on CBS, the broadcast television network in the US.

"Pay-per-view is a thing of the past. If a fan subscribes to Paramount+ for $12,99 a month, they automatically have access to all the numbered fights and the rest of the portfolio," said Mark Shapiro, president and COO of TKO Group, the company that manages UFC and WWE, in a recent interview with NBC.

The move ends ESPN's five-year partnership in the US and was finalized days after Paramount merged with Skydance. The organization also plans to expand the deal to other countries, as international rights will be negotiated gradually over the coming years.
