Geoff neal found a cost-effective way to keep the momentum going while resting in preparation for tackling Carlos Prates No. UFC 319, scheduled for next Saturday (16). Originally scheduled to measure forces with the Brazilian in UFC 314, the American left the card due to injury, but, during his recovery and the new camp, he maintained his routine as a waiter.
In an interview with 'Home of Fight', he explained that the activity guarantees extra income, helps him maintain his physical shape and keeps him away from problems outside the octagon.
"It's good money, and it also helps burn calories. It's like active rest. It keeps me out of trouble. It's like... it's beneficial, you know?" he said.
Geoff Neal predicts a one-round war against Carlos Prates at UFC 319
Known for his knockout power, Neal has 10 knockouts under his belt, and this time, he expects it to be no different. He candidly admitted that he hopes to end the fight in the first round and emphasized the importance of maintaining defense to avoid surprises.
"I really feel like it's going to be a one-round fight. That's my goal. Of course, I'm training for three rounds, but I'm really training for a one-round fight. There's no reason this fight should go beyond the first round... I see myself knocking him out in the first round. It probably won't happen early, but it will probably happen in the last few minutes, maybe three minutes," he emphasized. Geoff neal
