Michael Pereira has joined the group of Brazilian fighters who dream of a spot at UFC Rio. The flying fighter from Pará, who is scheduled to enter action next Saturday (23), at UFC Shanghai, has a plan to impress his fans.

In a video posted on his Instagram stories, Michael Pereira revealed that his goal is to impress with his performance in Shanghai and immediately ask for a spot to fight at UFC Rio, which is his biggest desire.

"Let's make weight. Let's fight. Let's put on a show. That's what the crowd wants to see. It's the show, right? Fight well and come out with the win. And depending on the situation... I'll ask to fight in Rio. Who knows, maybe we'll fight in Rio de Janeiro. I'm dying to fight in Rio," said Michel.

Michel Pereira highlights good weight cut for UFC Shanghai

Despite being considered 'heavyweight' for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), Michael Pereira reassured fans with his weight loss. According to the demolition man, everything is going according to plan.
