“Maybe defeat makes you forget.
Forget the struggle to get here.
From the days when no one believed.
Of tiredness. Of all the surrender. And of pain.
Maybe the defeat makes you think that it was all in vain.
But it was not.
Defeat teaches. It reveals. It builds.
I'm sure that defeat will shape me more than any victory.
It is by falling that we learn to get up. It is by falling that we learn to continue.
Because in the end, it's not just about winning and losing. It's about the journey.
About who you take and become during the process.
And that… No defeat can take that away from me,” Borralho wrote on Instagram.
