"That was with his training partners. Before I entered the octagon, they kept saying, 'You're going to die today. He's going to kill you.' They talked a lot of nonsense. But after I finished the fight, I went up to his partners and gave them the finger. Train more and talk less," Lopes declared, without mincing words.

A tense atmosphere surrounded the main event of the event, held in San Antonio, USA. The confrontation between the Brazilians was full of provocations behind the scenes and had a heated outcome even after the knockout. Seconds after the fight ended, Jean Silva pushed Diego, starting a brief altercation that was quickly contained by UFC security.
