Alex Poatán barely recovered the UFC light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg) and already began to plan his next commitment. Last Saturday (4), in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian took no notice of Magomed Ankalayev and, excited, he showed that he was keeping an eye on the other top athletes in the category, who were eager for the opportunity to fight for the title.
It is true that the renowned striker has made it clear his desire to have a super fight in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) against Jon Jones at the White House. However, if the plan doesn't come to fruition and the UFC decides his next fight will be at light heavyweight, Poatan has made a simple demand. Excited about regaining his title and brimming with confidence, the Brazilian aims to face the division's biggest threat.

Poatan's options at light heavyweight
Currently, two high-level fighters emerge as the main options for Alex Poatán in the UFC: Carlos Ulberg e Jiri ProchazkaThe New Zealander is ranked third in the light heavyweight division and is on a nine-fight winning streak. The Czech, a former champion in the division, is ranked second. The problem for Denisa is that he has lost twice to the Brazilian by knockout.
It is quite true that the rivalry between the renowned striker and Magomed Ankalayev remains alive and tied. However, since the Russian doesn't enjoy prestige with the UFC, he should be discarded, overlooked by the athletes mentioned above.
