“It’s a great night for Polish MMA. It’s a great night for Mateusz gamrot and a great opportunity. He was always super close, very high in the rankings, but he never had the luck to actually get close to his dream, which is to fight for the belt and become UFC champion,” Joanna stated.

Despite celebrating, the former champion acknowledged the risks Gamrot is taking by accepting a fight against Do Bronx.

“So great the opportunity, Mateusz gamrot "You're going to face one of the greatest: Charles Oliveira. We all love you, so Charles, thank you for everything you've done for the sport. Mateusz is a close friend, so I truly believe Mateusz will perform great. We know how good Charles is, and there's no doubt there's a lot of risk in this fight for Mateusz, but I truly believe it's his time. But I'm a big fan of Charles; he's the greatest, and we're going to face the greatest, so anything and everything can happen," he concluded.
