With great authority, Gregory Robocop imposed himself against Roman Kopylov and emerged victorious by unanimous decision on Saturday night (15) during the preliminary card of UFC 322, in a duel valid for the middleweight category (up to 83,9 kg). With the result, the Brazilian followed up the brutal knockout against Jack Hermanson and now has two consecutive victories in the biggest MMA organization in the world.

Kopylov occupied the center of the octagon from the start of the fight, using feints to confuse the Brazilian. Far from accepting his opponent's game plan, Robocop risked combinations of punches to the body and head, aiming to frustrate the Russian's approach. He began landing right straights and kicks to the body from the middle of the round, subsequently attempting a takedown, which was thwarted by his opponent.
Gregory's right hand began to trouble the Russian more and more in the final part of the round, while Kopylov adopted an increasingly defensive stance. The Russian managed a hip throw by taking advantage of Robocop's takedown attempt in the final seconds of the first round, but was unable to capitalize with ground strikes.
Robocop returned to the attack with a right straight and began to corner the Russian in the second round. The Brazilian was taken down but came close to finishing the fight with a leg lock early in the round, and then marched back towards the Russian, connecting with strong punches and kicks, opening a cut on Kopylov's right eyebrow.
The fight became increasingly dangerous for the opponent as the round progressed, so that in the last 90 seconds the Russian was only trying to evade the attacks. Robocop hurt his opponent with a right hook in the final seconds of the round, and the two finished the round in a clinch.
Visibly exhausted, Kopylov was unable to avoid the Brazilian's approach at the start of the third round. He absorbed strong jabs from the Brazilian, but briefly stunned Robocop with a left cross. After attempting a takedown and failing, Gregory returned to working body shots and avoided exposing himself for a few minutes. The Russian tried to take advantage of the situation by landing good combinations, but ran into the clear physical difference and failed to definitively injure his opponent.
At the end of the 15-minute fight, Gregory Robocop was declared the winner by unanimous decision, with all judges scoring 29 to 28 in his favor.

Erin Blanchfield ended Tracy Cortez 's winning streak by submission via choke in the second round, establishing herself as one of the top fighters in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg). With this victory, the American maintained her winning streak, which began with an excellent performance against Rose Namajunas , and caught the attention of the rest of the division.
Tracy had the advantage in most of the stand-up exchanges throughout the fight. Agile and making good use of counter punches, she frustrated her opponent's attempts to close the distance, who began to insistently seek the grappling fight from the second round onwards.
After repeatedly taking Cortez down, she attempted another takedown in the final seconds of the round. During the transition, she managed to control one of her opponent's arms with her legs and apply a very tight rear-naked choke, forcing her opponent to tap out at four minutes and 44 seconds of the second round.
In an interview with Joe Rogan inside the octagon, the fighter, who is ranked fourth in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), expressed interest in being the next challenger for the belt to be contested by Valentina Shevchenko and Weili Zhang.

Ethyn Ewing broke the bank by defeating Malcom Wellmaker by unanimous decision in a featherweight bout (up to 65,7 kg). The fight marked the fighter's debut in the world's largest MMA organization and ended Wellmaker's undefeated streak, who was seen as one of the rising stars of the division. The winner agreed to participate in the fight two days before the event after Cody Haddon suffered a foot injury.
Visibly calm, Wellmaker stayed in the center of the octagon and landed strong, precise punches when his opponent became aggressive. Ewing, in turn, didn't seem intimidated by the opportunity to face one of the company's top prospects. He landed good punches and even managed a high-amplitude takedown midway through the first round.
The fight became much more aggressive in the second round, with both athletes having great moments in the striking exchanges. While Wellmaker relied on strong crosses and precise hooks to the body, the newcomer attacked with straight punches from long range and slowed his opponent's momentum with short crosses in the clinch. Ewing repeated the strategy in the final part of the fight and forced his opponent to back up in several exchanges.
At the end of the 15-minute fight, Ethyn Ewing was declared the winner by unanimous decision of the judges.

In a middleweight bout (up to 83,9 kg), Kyle Daukaus dominated Geral Meerschaert, winning by submission in less than a minute after stunning his opponent on his feet. This was the fighter's sixth consecutive victory, having returned to the UFC in August of this year after a disappointing stint between 2020 and 2022.
Clearly faster and more lethal than his opponent, Daukaus landed a powerful overhand to Meerschaert's head in the opening exchanges, forcing the veteran to retreat and collapse against the cage. He landed a few punches initially, but saw an opportunity to apply a D'Arce choke, forcing Gerald to tap out after only 50 seconds of the fight.
In the post-fight interview inside the octagon, the fighter said he was very happy not only with his performance at the event but also with his recent record, considering that his last fight, against Michel Pereira , also ended in the first round. He dedicated the victory to his wife and revealed that he had recently become a father.
