Even seven years after Khabib Nurmagomedov choked Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229, the consequences of that night in October 2018 still seem to appear. In the early hours of this Sunday (16), during UFC 322, Dillon Danis and Abubakar Nurmagomedov (Khabib's cousin) as well as several other fighters were involved in a general brawl at Madison Square Garden.

The incident occurred shortly before the start of the main card. In the video, Danis can be seen being restrained by security and police at first, and then being assaulted by Abubakar, who was then restrained by Hunter Campbell, one of the UFC's top matchmakers.

Danis gained fame precisely during the confrontation between Khabib and McGregor. On that occasion, the Russian went after the American, then McGregor's jiu-jitsu coach, after winning the duel with the Irishman and defending the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg). Since then, the black belt has become a well-known figure in the MMA world, constantly getting involved in altercations with other fighters and celebrities.
