Brazilian Jean Silva has a date and opponent for his return to the octagon. "The Lord," as he is known, will face Arnold Allen at UFC 324, an event scheduled for January 24th in Las Vegas (USA). The show will be the first numbered title shown by Paramount+ , which acquired the rights for the next seven years.
The fight was announced by the American website MMA Fighting and will mark Jean Silva 's attempt at recovery . The Brazilian, who has a professional record of 16 wins and three losses, is coming off his first defeat in the UFC, when he was knocked out by compatriot Diego Lopes at Noche UFC in September. Currently, "Lord" is ranked 11th in the featherweight division (up to 65.8 kg).

On the other hand, Arnold Allen returns from a long period of inactivity. The Englishman hasn't fought since July 2024 when he defeated Giga Chikadze at UFC 304. The current sixth-ranked featherweight has a record of 20 wins and three losses as an MMA fighter.
Alex Poatan at UFC 324?
Although not yet official, UFC 324 may feature Alex Poatan as the main star of the event. As the show marks the debut on Paramount+, rumors about the event's main star to headline the fight card are gaining traction. According to journalist Timothy Wheaton, Poatan may defend his light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg) against Carlos Ulberg , a training partner of Israel Adesanya.
