Joe Rogan was candid. The UFC commentator spoke about the strengths of the Russian-Emirati Khamzat Chimaev , the company's current middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg). Joe detailed in his podcast how he sees the possibilities of someone defeating Chimaev.

In his podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' on YouTube this past Tuesday (9), Joe Rogan spoke with Brendan Allen , currently ranked fifth in the middleweight division. During the interview, one of the topics was Khamzat Chimaev and Joe ended up being candid in saying the way he believes is effective in overcoming the Russian-Emirati fighter.

“There are levels, and with a guy like Khamzat, you need to be an Olympic-level wrestler to be able to compete with him,” said Joe Rogan on his podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' on YouTube.

For Joe Rogan, it's necessary to develop an Olympic level of wrestling to deal with UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev . At 31 years old, the Russian-Emirati fighter doesn't know what it's like to lose in professional MMA, recording 15 wins and no losses.

When will the fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Poatan take place?

Khamzat Chimaev and Alex Poatan constantly taunt each other on social media. However, no official information regarding a possible fight between the two has yet been released.

The fact is that Khamzat Chimaev is in the UFC middleweight division while Alex Poatan currently fights in the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg). For this fight to take place in the octagon, Chimaev has already shown himself willing to increase his weight.

However, Alex Poatan is also interested in trying for the heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg) at some point, perhaps postponing a potential fight against the Russian-Emirati Khamzat Chimaev.
