Manel Kape 's knockout was the highlight of UFC Vegas 112. In the main event, held last Saturday (13), the Portuguese fighter needed only one round to connect with his right hand and knock out Brandon Royval.
With a dominant performance, Kape controlled the center of the octagon from the first seconds. While Royval tried to stay mobile and use feints to confuse him, the more solid and aggressive Portuguese fighter prioritized powerful strikes and advanced whenever he found an opening.

Midway through the first round, the pressure paid off. Kape cornered Royval against the cage and landed a powerful right cross, sending the American to the ground. Still dazed, Brandon tried to get up, but was caught again by Kape, who landed two more precise blows and delivered the knockout.
The victory was the 22nd of Manel Kape 's career , marking his third consecutive win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and solidifying his position as a potential contender for the division's title. Royval, on the other hand, suffered his ninth defeat, his fifth inside the UFC octagon.
