Kevin Vallejos had a magical night at UFC Vegas 112, held last Saturday (13). The Argentinian, who gained prominence by sharing the octagon with Jean Silva in the Contender Series, made short work of Giga Chikadze and knocked out the Georgian in the second round. As a bonus, he won the 'Performance of the Night' bonus, worth 50 thousand dollars (about R$ 272 thousand, at the current exchange rate).

The awards were announced by the UFC shortly after the event ended. In the co-main event, Vallejos initially started at a disadvantage in the stand-up fight, struggling to close the distance against Chikadze's kicks. However, in the second round, the Argentinian showed composure and skill by connecting with a spinning elbow, followed by a precise cross that left his opponent unconscious on the ground (watch the video).

Manel Kape and Steven Asplund also earn bonuses at UFC Vegas 112.
In the main event of the night, Manel Kape needed only one round to knock out Brandon Royval . The Portuguese fighter kept his cool to deal with the American's intense movement, closed the distance, and landed a right cross that ended the fight. Like Vallejos, Kape also received the 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
In the preliminary card, Sean Sharaf and Steven Asplund each took home $50 for 'Fight of the Night'. In the bout, the so-called "Ex-Obese" fighter relied on a high volume of strikes, opened a large cut on his opponent's forehead, and ended the fight with a technical knockout in the second round.
