Mauricio Ruffy confirmed that he remains a member of the Fighting Nerds team. Scheduled to face Rafael Fiziev at UFC 325 on January 31st, the Brazilian raised questions among fans by holding his training camp in Australia with the team and Alexander Volkanovski , instead of in São Paulo. According to the fighter, however, the decision is part of a one-off move and does not represent a permanent change.
In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Mauricio Ruffy explained that his trip to Volkanovski's training camp aims to broaden his learning, contribute to the champion's training, and improve specific aspects of his game plan, reinforcing that he intends to repeat this experience on other occasions, without breaking ties with Fighting Nerds.
