Longtime friends Carlos Boi and Jailton Malhadinho returned to training in preparation for the current season. And it wasn't just any training session. This week, in Bahia, the UFC top-10 heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) fighter and the former UFC fighter put their good relationship aside and engaged in intense sparring.
In a video posted by the Instagram profile 'A justando a Guarda', Malhadinho surprised everyone and, in true Max Holloway style , pointed to the center of the mat, challenging his friend to a fight. A striking specialist, Boi answered the call and landed some good punches on his partner. In response, the wrestler, eager to improve his stand-up game, also landed blows on his opponent. Following this, Carlos returned to attacking Jailton.

After approving of the workout, Malhadinho commented on the post: “My brother! It’s a lifelong battle ❤️”. Despite its short duration, the post served to show that the duo is coming in strong in 2026.
Upcoming fights for the duo
Currently, Jailton Malhadinho has no scheduled fights in the UFC. In his last appearance in the octagon, in October, the Brazilian lost to Alexander Volkov by split decision. He is currently ranked sixth in the heavyweight division.
Meanwhile, Carlos Boi will compete again in the ACA. Fighting for the Russian MMA organization, the Brazilian, who ended his four-fight losing streak in his last bout, will face Aleksandr Maslov on February 6th.
