The experience of competing in his first main event in the Ultimate was not pleasant for Vinicius Lokdog . At UFC Vegas 113, an event held this Saturday (7), the Brazilian did not find his place in the octagon, was dominated by veteran Mario Bautista and ended up being submitted in the second round.
The reality check in the octagon represented LokDog's first defeat in the UFC. Outmatched by the American, the Brazilian missed the chance to break into the top 10 of the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg). With his impressive performance, Bautista proved that many who labeled him a defensive athlete were wrong about him.

Much bigger, Lokdog sought to take the initiative in the fight and relied on low kicks. Undeterred, Bautista responded in kind. In the striking exchanges, Lokdog threw a punch, but Bautista took him down. Alert, Lokdog hit the ground and quickly got back up. Experienced, Bautista took Lokdog down again, took him to the center of the octagon and controlled him. Lokdog attempted a foot lock, but was unsuccessful. On top, Bautista landed punches on Lokdog, securing the round.
In the second round, Lokdog landed two low kicks. Then, Bautista took Lokdog down twice and took his back. A grappling specialist, Bautista lifted Lokdog and executed a beautiful takedown. Despite the disadvantage, Lokdog landed a good punch to Bautista's face. Lokdog even tried to surprise Bautista with a takedown, but the veteran reversed the position, putting him on the bottom. On top, Bautista controlled Lokdog, scoring with punches and elbows and tiring him out. Comfortable, Bautista took advantage of the moment and finished via rear-naked choke.
