Alex Poatán He is much more than a powerful UFC knockout artist. Frequently involved in social causes, the athlete is the founder of the Poatan Institute. The project, which began in 2025, is located in the Batistini neighborhood, in São Bernardo do Campo (SP).
With the intention of transforming lives through culture, education, and sports, the Poatan Institute offers five courses, including martial arts, computer skills, and English. The organization is non-profit and supports young people in vulnerable situations.
