The Brazilian, who was scheduled on the preliminary card of the event that marks the return of Ronda Rousey In the main event, he waged a true three-round war. However, in the last second, he locked in a rear-naked choke that knocked his opponent unconscious — the submission was only confirmed after video review by the judges.

The unusual moment began when the final ten seconds were announced. Both fighters advanced, trying to impress the judges, but after a collision in the center of the octagon, Nkuta fell. Moraes quickly seized the opportunity, took his back, and locked in the decisive rear-naked choke.
