SUPER FIGHTSThe Brazilian fighter reveals that he is in advanced negotiations with the UFC to return to the organization later this year and indicated September as the likely month for his next fight, after... victory against Chris Duncan via rear-naked choke at UFC Vegas 115, held in April.

Without announcing a potential opponent, the lightweight fighter stated that talks with the company are already underway and expressed confidence in reaching an agreement in the coming months: "I'm already in talks with the UFC, I can't reveal the opponent yet, I'll probably close a fight in September," declared Moicano.

Mohawk's next steps beyond the UFC

In addition to returning to the biggest MMA event in the world, the fighter also commented on plans for the first edition of Money Moicano MMA, an event created by him and which will have its debut on Saturday (23). According to the athlete, the expectation is to hold a new edition, maintaining the schedule that he considers ideal to balance his career as a businessman and competitor.

"In October we'll have another Money Moicano MMA event, everything is going well with this edition," stated the Brazilian. According to Moicano, the planned schedule allows him to fulfill professional commitments without compromising his preparation to fight at a high level in the UFC.

The fighter explained that he sees the current moment as strategic for consolidating both projects simultaneously. He defined it as 'perfect timing'. Managing to hold the first event, fulfill some commitments, return to training, fight again in September, and then Money Moicano MMA 2 in October, everything is going as expected for the athlete.

Currently experiencing one of the most popular phases of his career, Moicano has gained even more prominence in recent years due to his six-fight winning streak in the lightweight division between June 2021 and September 2024, and a title fight in January 2025 against... Islam makhachev and for his strong presence on social media, where he often comments on the main topics related to MMA in an irreverent way.

At the same time, the fighter seeks to strengthen Money Moicano MMA as an alternative to discover talent and expand the national scene of the sport.
