Last Saturday (23), in São Paulo, the first edition of Money Moicano MMA took place, an unusual company created by Renato Moicano , and which has already caused quite a stir. And it wasn't just the fights that stood out. Behind the scenes of the event, legendary figures from combat sports showed up and Demian Maia was one of them. As always polite and helpful, the icon of jiu-jitsu and UFC gave his opinion about the veteran's project, which prioritizes entertainment.
In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS , Demian made a point of praising Moicano and views the creation of MMMMA favorably. Indeed, given the lack of organization in the Brazilian MMA scene, the presence of such a popular figure as the athlete, who stands out for his charisma, creativity, and popularity, strengthens it once again. Therefore, with the league's focus on entertainment, the former fighter and current commentator believes it has everything it needs to win over fans and be essential in bringing national MMA back into the spotlight.

“I think it’s really cool, because Moicano is a showman. And he’s mixing the event with a lot of entertainment, drawing attention to MMA,” said the jiu-jitsu and MMA legend in a conversation with reporter Renan Campos.
