It's no secret that Carlos Prates is a football fan and a die-hard Corinthians supporter. Even when he fought his most recent UFC fight in Australia in May, the Brazilian was greeted by one of the club's organized fan groups. Now that he awaits the organization to define his next step, the member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy is more connected to the traditional sport than ever. So much so that the São Paulo native made an appearance on 'Desimpedidos', one of the biggest channels about the sport on YouTube.

During his appearance on the 'Bolivia Talk Show', when asked which player represents each fighter, Prates didn't shy away from the topic and compiled a surprising list. In it, the Brazilian compared legendary UFC names like Alex Paolo , Anderson Silva , Charles Oliveira , and others, to football stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and others. To reach this conclusion, the striker stated that he based his analysis on the professionals' legacy.
