The time has come for Conor McGregor to return to MMA. Five years after suffering a terrible fracture in his left leg, the most popular name in the history of the sport returns to compete in the organization that changed his life on Saturday night (11), in the main fight of UFC 329. In his path, the Notorious will have a familiar name: Max Holloway , coming off a loss to Charles do Bronx . Although they built their careers in lighter divisions, the duel is valid for the welterweight category (up to 77,1 kg).
The two first faced each other in 2013, still as prospects in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg), with the Irishman winning by unanimous decision. Since then, both have become extremely successful and have built records full of top-level names.

In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett returns to the world's most famous octagon after his loss to Justin Gaethje earlier this year. "The Wicked One" faces Benoit Saint-Denis in a lightweight bout (up to 70,3 kg). The Frenchman is on a four-fight winning streak, the last one against Dan Hooker in January.
Brazil in the octagon
Unlike most events, there will be no Brazilian athletes on the main card of UFC 329. However, three Brazilian athletes will be competing in the preliminary fights. In the first fight of the night, Alessandro Costa faces Cody Durden in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), followed by Ryan Gandra against Zachary Reese in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg) and Cesinha Almeida in a duel with Damian Pinas in the same category.
