Woman who accused Conor McGregor of rape will release book detailing the case; understand the story.

Conor McGregor is about to have one of the darkest chapters of his life exposed in the pages of a book. Nikita Hand, who won a legal battle against the Irishman in which a court found him responsible for her rape, which occurred in December 2018, has signed a contract with the publisher Hachette Books Ireland to release a literary work.

The book is scheduled for release on September 22nd. Titled 'Not The Perfect Victim', it will feature Nikita's detailed account of the events.

Irish court upholds McGregor's civil conviction.

In July 2025, Conor McGregor's appeal was rejected in the civil lawsuit filed by Nikita Hand, who accuses him of rape that occurred in a Dublin hotel in December 2018. Unanimously, the Court of Appeal dismissed the defense's arguments and upheld the decision that found the Irishman civilly liable, ordering him to pay approximately €248 (about R$1,58 million) in damages.

The Court also found that there was no error in the guidance given to the jury during the original trial and referred the case to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), who will assess possible attempts to manipulate witnesses. McGregor did not attend the hearing, while Nikita Hand was present and witnessed the verdict.

In the main event of UFC 329 , held last Saturday (11), Conor McGregor returned to the Ultimate octagon after five years away. However, the return lasted only a few seconds: the Irishman suffered a knee injury right at the start of the duel and was forced to abandon the fight against Max Holloway.
