Sean Strickland has an explanation for the boos directed at Ian Garry during the UFC 330 press conference , held last Thursday (13). Scheduled to face Islam Makhachev in the main event, the Irishman became the target of criticism after supporting feminist causes on the eve of the fight. In the American's view, Garry's stance contributed to alienating him from the public.

In a post on X, Strickland recalled some of Garry's statements and attitudes that, according to him, help explain the fans' rejection. The American ironically commented on the fact that the Irishman defends feminist causes, supports his wife in professional matters, and at the same time questions why he is not liked by the public.
