Arman Tsarukyan has a scheduled fight against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 on September 19 in Los Angeles (USA), but questioned the reason that led Charles do Bronx to withdraw from a possible confrontation between the two. In an interview with Ariel Helwani's YouTube channel, this Monday (17), the Armenian commented on the situation and raised doubts about the Brazilian's withdrawal from training.

According to Tsarukyan, he received information that Charles refused the fight, citing Allan Puro Osso 's death as the reason for not being able to maintain his training. However, the Armenian found it strange that the Brazilian resumed training a few days later and raised the possibility that negotiations were already underway for the former lightweight champion's next fight (up to 70,3 kg).

“I was told that a friend of Charles passed away and that he couldn’t train. But I don’t understand, because three or four days later he was already doing live streams and back in camp. I think they probably already scheduled a fight with Diego Lopes . Maybe he just made up an excuse,” said Arman Tsarukyan.

Following this, the fighter reflected on the delicate moment Charles do Bronx was experiencing and acknowledged that each person reacts differently to grief. Even so, Arman stated that, in his view, the Brazilian could have continued with the fight and dedicated any eventual victory to Allan.

“Everyone is different, and losing someone is very difficult, but you could beat me and dedicate the victory to your friend. I think they'll probably put Charles against Diego Lopes for the BMF title,” the Armenian concluded.
