Josh Hokit was not happy about being left out of the list of potential UFC rivals for Ciryl Gane . After the Frenchman stated that he is open to a rematch against Tom Aspinall or a new duel with Alex Poatan , the American reacted on social media and, in true Conor McGregor style , decided to create his own 'panties night', but with a slight twist.

In a post on X, Hokit highlighted that Gane had left his name out of the fight and took the opportunity to taunt the Frenchman. The wrestler stated that his version of the famous 'Panties Night' would be marked by the color black, as it would be the funeral of his opponent, whether Gane or Poatan.

“It says a lot who Ciryl Gane left off the list. 'Red Panties Night' was for Conor. Mine will be 'Black Panties Night,' because it will be at your funeral when you step into the octagon with me, Ciryl Gane , or Alex Poatan ,” wrote Josh Hokit.

Next, the American also targeted Tom Aspinall . Hokit ironically suggested that the UFC strip the Englishman of his title so that he has more time to negotiate his next contract with the organization.

"P.S.: Take the belt away from Aspinall so he has more time to negotiate the contract," the loudmouth concluded.

What is Alex Poatan's next fight in the UFC?

After debuting in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg) with a loss to Ciryl Gane , Poatan keeps alive his dream of winning his third UFC belt. The Brazilian has already made it clear that he intends to return to the octagon between November and December and is aiming for a rematch with the Frenchman. However, fans and experts point out that Josh Hokit or Sergei Pavlovich are the most likely opponents for the Brazilian.

Johnny Walker opens up about his heavyweight debut at UFC 332.
