Gregory Robocop has already set his main target for his next fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) octagon. After defeating Anthony Hernandez at UFC Sacramento, the Brazilian is aiming for a fight against Dricus Du Plessis , former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), as a way to get closer to a future title shot.

In an interview with PVT, Robocop stated that Du Plessis is the opponent that makes the most sense for his next fight. The Brazilian mentioned that Brendan Allen and Joe Pyfer have fights lined up and Nassourdine Imavov appears as the next title challenger. Without information about Khamzat Chimaev 's whereabouts , Robocop placed the South African as his priority, although he acknowledges that the UFC may decide otherwise.

“I want Dricus, right? I think that fight makes the most sense. He fought Kamaru recently, Brendan has a fight lined up, I believe Pyfer has a fight lined up, Imavov is next in line for the title. I don't know where Chimaev is, but, on my radar, it's Dricus, unless the UFC has another option. But I'm focusing on him,” said Gregory Robocop.

The Brazilian also analyzed the former champion's characteristics, highlighting his physical strength, stamina, and striking power. Despite this, Robocop believes Du Plessis has several technical weaknesses that can be exploited and sees room for him to gain an advantage, particularly in boxing and grappling, during a potential fight.

“He’s a really strong guy, a tough guy, a guy who hits hard too. But he has a lot of weaknesses, technical errors that can be exploited quite a bit. He’s a guy you can’t say what’s special about him, he’s not that complete in one art. He’s an MMA fighter, a really tough guy… But I believe I can excel and gain an advantage in boxing and grappling as well,” concluded the Brazilian.
