A standout in Brazilian MMA, Jean Silva has an extremely important commitment. This Saturday (12), in Arizona (USA), the Brazilian will headline Noche UFC against the promising Jose Delgado and, if he wins, he will be closer to competing for the featherweight belt (up to 65,8 kg). Aware that the top of the competitive category is right there, the bad boy celebrates the absence of a different professional.

Always sincere, Jean thanked God that Ilia Topuria decided to switch from featherweight to lightweight (up to 70,3 kg). And the Brazilian's respect for 'El Matador' is no surprise, given that he was champion in both weight classes. Interestingly, in the past, the member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy stated that he had mapped the Georgian and expressed confidence that he would beat him.
Today, with Ilia considered by many to be one of the best MMA fighters currently, Jean has changed his mind and has no doubt that if he had remained in the featherweight division, his dream of winning the title would have been jeopardized. Now, with the Georgian seeking recovery in the lightweight division after being surprised by Justin Gaethje , 'Lord', as a fan of the sport, revealed that he would like to see him face an old acquaintance.
“Topuria loses a lot of weight. So, I understand too. When you mentioned the two (Topuria and Diego Lopes ), I imagined they would fight. It would be an incredible fight. Thinking about Topuria, thank God he left my weight class. Are you crazy? That guy is on another level. I'm out,” said the fighter at the Noche UFC media day.
