Tom Aspinall 's departure from the heavyweight championship (up to 120,2 kg) has shaken up the UFC's main division. With Ciryl Gane now the undisputed champion, Daniel Cormier analyzed the division and projected what the organization's next step should be.

In a video published on his YouTube channel last Monday (14), the former light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) and heavyweight champion assessed possible names to face Gane and pointed out his preference for the first defense of the belt. The Frenchman defeated Alex Poatan in June, at UFC Casa Branca , and still does not have his next opponent defined.

“ Cyryl Gane should defend the heavyweight title against Josh Hokit . That’s the fight. I have no doubt it should be against Hokit,” said Daniel Cormier.
