Ryan Gandra started the fight cautiously, keeping his distance while Ozzy Diaz tried to take the initiative. However, after a moment of carelessness from the American, the Brazilian landed a counter punch that began the end of the fight.
With Ozzy off balance, Gandra picked up the pace and began landing a series of crosses until he took his opponent to the ground. Following that, the Brazilian finished the job with ground and pound strikes, securing another knockout in the UFC.

Michael Aswell wins war against Joo Sang Yoo at UFC 331
In a featherweight bout (up to 65,7 kg), Joo Sang Yoo and Michael Aswell put on a real war in the octagon at UFC 331. From the first round, the young fighters went on the offensive and engaged in an open fight with a lot of back-and-forth exchanges, until the American prevailed over the South Korean by split decision.
The victory marked Michael Aswell 's 12th career win and ended a two-fight losing streak in the UFC. Sang Yoo, on the other hand, suffered his second consecutive defeat in the organization.
