In a conversation with influencer Nina Drama, Dana set a condition to reveal Poatan's next fight in the octagon. Aware of the reach and power of the 'Ultimate Fighting Championship' brand, the executive guaranteed that if the YouTuber's post on 'Instagram' received 25 comments, he would announce the Brazilian's opponent during his live stream on 'Kik', during UFC 332, an event that takes place this Saturday (3), in Utah (USA). As the goal was met, it is now only a matter of time before we know the veteran's new challenge.
Alex Poatan against whom?
Brutally knocked out by Ciryl Gane in June, in his heavyweight debut (up to 120,2 kg), Poatan campaigned for an immediate rematch, but was unsuccessful. The company decided that the Frenchman, now promoted to undisputed champion in the absence of Tom Aspinall , will defend his title for the first time against Josh Hokit at UFC 334 in November.
Therefore, since the Brazilian has stated his intention to continue in the category, given the current scenario, he may face Sergei Pavlovich . It is worth noting that Poatan is ranked third, while the Russian, a friend of Valter Walker , is number two.
Johnny Walker opens up about his heavyweight debut at UFC 332.
