Veteran Ken Shamrock returned to winning ways this Saturday (16) at USA-MMA, an event held in the city of Lafayette, United States. The “World’s Most Dangerous Man”, as he is known, returned to fight on American soil after serving a one-year suspension for testing positive for steroid use, in February of last year. Last night, Shamrock defeated Johnatan Ivey by unanimous decision of the judges.
Upon his return to MMA after the end of his suspension, Shamrock was defeated by Brazilian Pedro Rizzo by technical knockout at Impact FC 2, in July this year, in Australia. Shamrock is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame and began his career in 1993 at Pancrase, debuting in the same year in the UFC. At 46 years old, Shamrock has 28 wins, 14 losses and two draws on his record, which includes victories over MMA legends such as Bas Rutten and Dan Severn.
