The Brazilian Rodrigo Damm was called up by Strikeforce to replace the lightweight champion, Josh thomson, who fractured his hand during training, and faces the tough Gilbert Melendez, in the next edition of the show that takes place on April 11th, in the United States.
Rodrigo Damm comes from a defeat to Eiji Mitsuoka, at Sengoku 4, held in August, while Melendez also comes from a loss, precisely to Josh thomson, in June.
