“ Tony Ferguson is finished. Let’s be honest. I think he should retire from MMA. I try not to talk about someone’s retirement because nobody knows when it’s over until they know it themselves. But Tony seems to be the only one who isn’t sure about that. Everyone is confident that his time is up,” Cormier said on the DC & RC show.

Ferguson, who was once the interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), lost last Saturday (16) to Paddy Pimblett , by unanimous decision, in the main fight of UFC 296 , in Las Vegas. It was the seventh consecutive defeat for “El Cucuy”, who has not won since 2019, when he submitted Donald Cerrone.
