Alex Poatan , champion in two different weight classes in the UFC , may be eyeing a historic achievement: winning the organization's third belt, this time in the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg).

The Brazilian, who already held the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.) and current 'king' of the light heavyweights (up to 93kg.), posted an enigmatic message on his Instagram account, which left fans curious about his plans for the future.

Last Thursday (December 21st), Poatan posted the following equation on his stories: “30 + 300 = 3”. Many interpreted the number 300 as a reference to UFC 300 , the event scheduled for April 13th, 2024, which promises to be one of the biggest in MMA history . The number 3 could allude to the third belt the São Paulo native intends to fight for, now in the heavyweight division. Another possibility is a trilogy fight with Israel Adesanya , the fighter's eternal rival. But what does the number 30 mean?

Whatever the meaning of the message, the fact is that Alex is attracting the attention of the MMA world with his ambition and talent. The Brazilian, who became the first Brazilian man in UFC history to win two belts when he defeated Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295 in November, may have his eye on Tom Aspinall , the interim heavyweight champion.
