The 'package' of fights announced by Dana White last Thursday (21) was not limited to UFC 298 , with Borrachinha x Whittaker , or the star-studded UFC 300. The Ultimate president also announced extremely important duels for the events in Mexico City, in February, and Atlantic City, in March.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship's return to the Mexican capital, scheduled for February 24th, will feature a rematch between featherweights (up to 65,7 kg) Yair Rodriguez and Brian Ortega , in a five-round duel. The two will face each other again more than a year and a half after their first encounter in July 2022, when Ortega suffered a shoulder injury in the first round, paving the way for Rodriguez's technical knockout, who would later become the interim champion of the division.

Despite being a five-round fight, the duel between Rodriguez and Ortega is the co-main event of UFC Mexico , which will feature the main event between former champion Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).
UFC Atlantic City, scheduled for March 30th, has added a fight to its card that should determine the next challenger for the flyweight title (up to 56,7 kg). Second-ranked Erin Blanchfield faces third-ranked Manon Fiorot . Both are undefeated in the UFC and haven't lost in over four years.
The duel between Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot is only the second fight confirmed for the Atlantic City event, which already featured the strawweight (up to 52,1 kg) bout between Virna Jandiroba and Lupita Godinez.
