In an interview with ' Bloody Elbow ', the 38-year-old Brazilian revealed her desire for a potential superfight against Kayla Harrison to represent her farewell to professional MMA. The Curitiba native has been competing in the sport since 2005.

“We’ve been negotiating this fight for three years. We’ve been trying for this fight ever since Kayla Harrison came along. My team and I thought it should be my next fight. I’m at a point in my career where I’m looking to end my journey in the best way possible, and I see her as a big name. (…) It’s a challenge that everyone would like to watch,” said Cyborg.

In addition to the desire, Cris spoke again about his likely retirement. The athlete then understands that the PFL star could represent her last opponent in professional MMA.

“ Cat Zingano was a great fight and I could end my career with that matchup, but I think Kayla Harrison is another giant. I could retire after that one too,” he concluded.

Among the belts won by Cris are thrones in Invicta FC, Strikeforce, UFC and Bellator. Today, the Curitiba native has 27 wins, two losses and one no contest in MMA.
