Former Bellator star, welterweight (up to 77,1kg) Michael Page didn't hide his anxiety before deciding his future. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the English fighter revealed that he hadn't slept for the last two days while he had to decide which organization he would fight for, and celebrated signing a contract with the UFC.

“I didn't really sleep for 48 hours. The first choice was definitely the UFC, but at the same time it was nice to feel wanted, so to speak. But yes, it was a long 48 hours (of negotiation). People were like, 'I don't know how you're still standing.' But when it comes to work, I'm always ready. The storm is not now. It seems like there is a big storm around my name. But the storm will come when I enter the octagon, trust me,” said Page.
A Bellator athlete between 2013 and 2023, the 'MVP' achieved 17 victories and suffered only two defeats in the organization presided over by Scott Coker. Signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Page will make his debut at UFC 299 , scheduled for March 09th, against the experienced Kevin Holland . The Englishman has a record in MMA of 21 wins and only two losses.
