Conor McGregor 's return to the UFC is still uncertain, but Dana White has already given some indications that he is negotiating with the Irish star. In a live broadcast on Instagram, the organization's president revealed that he spoke with McGregor, who is in Dubai, and that he hopes to resolve something soon.
“He and I are going to sort something out soon. We were talking. There’s more (announcement) coming this week for UFC 300. You (fans) are very aggressive. There will be more fights for UFC 300 next week, don’t worry,” said White, without giving further details.

The expectation is that McGregor could return to the octagon at the historic UFC 300 , which will take place on April 13, 2024, in Las Vegas.
The event will mark a new era for the franchise, which has already held memorable editions in numbers 100 and 200. One of Conor's possible opponents would be Michael Chandler , with whom he had a rivalry during the reality show The Ultimate Fighter 31, in which they were coaches of opposing teams.

Conor McGregor back in the UFC
The Irishman, a former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, has not fought since July 2021, when he suffered a serious fracture to his left leg in a trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
Since then, he has faced problems with USADA, the anti-doping agency that regulates Ultimate, and had to serve a six-month period to enter the testing program. Furthermore, he was involved in several controversies outside the cage, such as accusations of sexual assault.
