Derrick Lewis returns to the Octagon and holds main fight against Brazilian prospect

The North American seeks to recover from his last defeat and faces off against Rodrigo Zé Colmeia at UFC Saint Louis, on May 11

Looking to recover from the defeat suffered by Jailton Malhadinho, Derrick Lewis He is scheduled to return to the Octagon on May 11th, in a 'Fight Night' edition held in the city of St. Louis in the United States. To face the veteran, Rodrigo Zé Colmeia was cast. Currently, the Brazilian occupies 15th place in the heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2kg).

In a delicate phase in the organization, where he has won one in the last five fights, Derrick Lewis accepted the challenge of placing 12th place in the game. Known for his great knockout power, the fighter last triumphed in August 2023, when he knocked out Marcos Foot in 33 seconds of fighting. Currently the fighter has 27 triumphs and 12 setbacks on his record.

On the other hand, Rodrigo Nascimento, better known as Zé Hive, has been riding on four consecutive victories in the organization. In his last three appearances, the Brazilian triumphed by the judges' decision. His only career setback occurred in his second UFC fight, when he was knocked out by Chris Daukas in the first round. The duel took place in 2020.

Scheduled for May 11, the duel will last up to five rounds. The event will take place at the Enterprise Center in Saint Louis.
