“I think Shavkat (Rakhmonov) has everything to become a champion. He is a unique fighter. 18-0, 18 straight wins. Arman (Tsarukyan) has it all: skills, ambition. The question is when will this happen? If he believes in his dream, visualizes it… then everything will be real,” Yan said.

Fourth placed in the lightweight rankings, Tsarukyan is going through a great moment and has been riding on three consecutive victories. On April 13th, on the historic card of UFC 300, the Armenian prospect will measure forces with the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx, former category champion.

Number three in the group led by Leon edwards, Rakhmonov is undefeated in professional MMA with 18 straight victories, all of them by knockout or submission. In Ultimate, his last triumph was against the veteran Stephen Thompson No. UFC 296, held in December 2023.
