Amid preparation for the main fight of UFC Vegas 90, this Saturday (6), against Brendan allen, average weight (up to 83,9kg.) Chris Curtis stood out not only for his skills in the octagon, but also for a peculiar statement during the event's “media day”.

Without mincing words, the American revealed that his passion for combat sports surpasses even his sexual desires.

“I'd rather fight than make love, to be honest. That’s what I do”, joked Curtis, drawing laughter from the press present.

Stating that he plans to dedicate himself to gaining muscle mass, the American revealed that the opportunity to compete in the UFC, in addition to a possible good financial incentive, made him change his mind.

“I really like money. I will do terrible things for money when you offer to pay me, and I love to fight. I love fighting more than anything. I've said it once and I'll say it again: I'd rather fight than make love, to be honest. That’s what I do,” Curtis reiterated.

The unusual statement came to light when Curtis was explaining his decision to replace Marvin vettori in the main fight, after the original opponent was injured.
