UFC 300 warm-up: Remember Alex Poatan's victory in the arena of this Saturday's historic event

Still as a middleweight athlete (up to 83,9kg), Poatan won his first two commitments in the organization, against Andreas Michailidis e Bruno Blindado. With a 'hype' already established, the former Glory champion began to be avoided by the division's elite, except for the 'top of everything' Sean Strickland, who agreed to face him in the UFC 276, in July 2022.

Inside the octagon, Strickland didn't shy away from the exchange with Poatan and attacked the Brazilian from the beginning of the confrontation.
