“I would say that Alex Pereira is the most technical striker, but he is hit by unorthodox strikers and we saw that against Jiri (Prochazka). In my opinion, he was injured in that fight too, but he still won because he is very experienced in striking. He can fight with balance, he knows how to do it because he's done it hundreds of times. Jamahal hill brings a different factor to this fight. He has a lot of power and has stopped a lot of guys with his hands. Furthermore, he brings unorthodox striking to the table,” said Whittaker.

In the former champion's opinion, leg kicks will be a key factor in the success of Alex Poatán, who tends to emerge victorious if the fight goes beyond the first round.

"How I see? I can see Pereira slowly destroying his legs. He is such a technical striker and understands that fights are won with leg kicks and torso strikes. He's too good at doing this. If the fight goes past the first round, I'm inclined to bet on Pereira. That’s all I’m going to say”, pointed out the New Zealander.
