Like the entire MMA community, the South African Dricus Du Plessis was eager for the historic UFC 300. However, the reason is different. In an interview with the 'Shadow Banned' channel, the current middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) said he doesn't like Alex Poatán quality Jamahal hill and surprised by saying that he will hope for a 'double knockout' in the main fight of this Saturday's event (13).

“They both don't like me, I realized, so I'd love a double knockout. Pereira doesn't like me obviously because I would kick his b**** and beat his boy Sean Strickland”, stated Du Plessis.

In his first defense of the light heavyweight belt, Alex Poatán will headline the biggest event in the organization's history, the UFC 300, which takes place this Saturday (13), in Las Vegas (USA). On the other side of the Octagon, there will be the North American Jamahal hill, former champion of the category and who returns after a serious injury to his Achilles tendon.

Du Plessis won the middleweight belt last January, at UFC 297, by beating the controversial Sean Strickland in the judges' split decision. The South African's first title defense will probably be next August, on a card scheduled for Australia, against the former champion Israel adesanya.
