With the participation of names like Jon Jones, who was 22 years old at the time, Jim Miller, Mark Coleman, Stephan bonnar, Dan Henderson e Michael Bisping in fights that were not valid for the title of their respective categories, UFC 100 attracted a large audience to watch the event full of talent.

In addition to these, Georges St-Pierre defended the welterweight title (up to 77,1kg) in a five-round duel against the Brazilian Thiago Pitbull. On that occasion, the Canadian had a dominant performance and overcame the aggression and skill in the stand-up fight imposed by the Brazilian.

In the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg.), Brock Lesnar enjoyed great stardom in the organization and received the opportunity to avenge a defeat against one of its biggest rivals Frank mir. Entitled to an unusual celebration, the athlete brutally knocked out his compatriot and defended the division title with just three UFC fights.

With an unexpected outcome, UFC 100 ended with a duel between Jon Fitch x Paulo thiago, who at the time were not competing for the welterweight title. The match was scheduled to take place earlier on the main card, however with time constraints due to two upcoming title fights, the decision was made to have the fight take place after the main matches.

Finally, when announcing the event bonuses, Dan Henderson was awarded a 'Knockout of the Night' bonus, after erasing his rival in a historic way Michael Bisping with the eternally called 'H-Bomb'.

Five years after the first century-old edition, UFC 200 featured unforeseen events, title wins, unsuccessful fights and an innovative Octagon.

In the week of the long-awaited event, Jon Jones was removed from the card after failing an anti-doping test. On that occasion, 'Bones' would defend the light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier. Willing to remain present at the show, the North American was surprised with a positive wave from Anderson Silva, who moved up a category and ventured into a three-round duel.

Despite the defeat, the Brazilian came close to a knockout by hurting his rival in the last seconds of the fight and excited the audience present in the arena after a monotonous fight.

Still on the main card, José Aldo returned from bitter defeat to Conor McGregor and also proved to be one of the biggest names in the category. Amid doubts about psychological issues, the Brazilian had a dominant performance in a rematch against Frankie Edgar and won the interim belt in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.)

Retired five years ago, Brock Lesnar returned from long inactivity to perform the penultimate fight of the event in a duel against Mark Hunt. Visibly bigger than his opponent, the American defeated his rival by the judges' decision, but the fight was reversed to 'no result' after failing an anti-doping test. In 2016, USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) was already implemented in the organization.
