With no time for sad stories, the American portrayed himself on his social networks and stated that, despite the bitter episode, everything is fine in his physical and mental condition.

“Well, that’s the game we play. I got caught. For anyone who cares, I'm fine. I am fine. We're still going to do our thing tonight. You know where we are, we are in Hakkasan. We will be back soon”, declared Jamahal in a video published on Instagram.

Still in the publication, Hill congratulated Poatan in text written in the caption.

"Im ok. I got caught. Congratulations to Alex! I’ll be back soon!!!”, recorded the former champion.

Fueled by four consecutive victories, Jamahal expressed great confidence in his return after suffering an Achilles tendon injury and relinquishing the light heavyweight title. During provocations made throughout the fight week, Hill promised to knock out Poatan and break the bank.
